What should I look for in hiring a family law attorney?
Hiring a family law attorney, just like hiring an attorney for anything else, is much like hiring any other individual in a personal services business. You need to have confidence in them. You need to have a comfort level. They need to be interested in you and your case. You need to be at ease and have a good comfort level with that person, because essentially what you’re doing is you’re placing the rest of your life, financially and maybe the relationship of you and your children, in their hands. You do need to have a very good, comfortable relationship with them.
