The ideal candidate must have excellent academic qualifications and a minimum of 3 years experience. Position will include legal research, drafting motions, arguing motions and taking and defending depositions. Will have substantial client contact so excellent communication skills necessary. Litigation Paralegal

Tampa law firm specializing in civil and commercial litigation, including insurance litigation, seeks an experience Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of five (5) years of litigation experience. Experience with and working knowledge of Outlook and Aderant (Client Profiles) is preferred. You must be able to immediately work files and move cases independently to conclusion as this is not a training position. Must have the ability to draft correspondence and pleadings, speak with clients, schedule depositions, work with experts, prepare medical chronologies and deposition summaries, track and calendar deadlines, e-file in State and Federal court and prepare for trial as necessary. This is a billing position and requires a minimum of 135 chargeable hours per month. We are a team spirited and family oriented law firm.
