Can the homeowner’s association get a lien in Florida on a homeowner’s property for failure to pay their assessment?
This can be pretty scary. A homeowners’ association in Florida can put a lien on your property if you don’t pay your assessments, and that doesn’t matter whether it’s monthly, quarterly, annually. It could be a $25 assessment. At some point, if you become delinquent long enough, the association does have the right to put a lien on your property.
